The Millennium Group - Science in the Service of Humanity (used to be at http://www.millenngroup.com/)

According to Earl L. Crockett and Gary D. Goodwin, founders of The Millennium Group, science is in the pocket of the government which is conspiring to keep from the public the real truth about what is going on in the heavens above and on the earth below. In March 1999, they appeared on Art Bell to defend the notion that the comet Hale-Bopp had a companion (they called it "Hale Mary") and there was a massive conspiracy to hide this fact and destroy the credibility of such luminaries as Whitley Strieber, Courtney Brown, and Art Bell himself.

In fact, almost everything you've been taught about cosmology is wrong and the government, for reasons never made quite clear, doesn't want us to know the truth about the origin of the universe, our sun, earth, the weather, NASA, etc. We are on the verge of massive destruction and catastrophes and the government doesn't want us to know this. Scientists are mostly dupes "captured within the system" who don't know that they are being used by the government to cover-up the truth. They've lied to us about El Niño, they've lied to us about comets. Nostradamus knew what was going to happen to us, but the government is keeping this vital knowledge out of our hands.

Skeptic's might remember how the catastrophists were quoting Nostradamus last summer:

The year 1999 seven months
From the sky will come the great King of Terror.
To resuscitate the great king of the Mongols.
Before and after Mars reigns by good luck.

Since nothing of note fell from the sky that resuscitated the king of the Mongols, skeptics might think the matter was over. Not so. The catastrophists at The Millennium Group claim that recent hurricanes and floods were caused by comet Lee, which was what Nostradamus was probably alluding to.

Crockett and Goodwin claim

The MILLENNIUM GROUP is organized to provide an open, honest, and truthful forum and repository for the new scientific research and critical thinking that is now necessary for the successful evolution and transformation of life on Planet Earth.

This swell-sounding agenda doesn't quite match their published works. For example, in what they call "The Repository - Where Truth in Science Begins," they link to papers such as "Comet Lee and The Nostradamus Prophecies An Update With a Few Answers That you've been Asking For" by Marshall Masters and to a Nostradamus Special Interest Group. (They used to have a link to an article about WACO, but it has been removed.) If studies on the prophecies of Nostradamus are considered "new scientific research and critical thinking," you can imagine what else is considered "true science" by this group of honest truthseekers. If the government lied to us about WACO, then surely they must be lying to us about the Big Bang!
