Dr. Ray Hyman was a cognitive psychologist at the University of Oregon before his retirement. He was a founding member of CSICOP (now CSI) and has been a major debunker of alleged psychics. He is the founder of The Skeptic's Toolbox. His article on "cold reading" is considered a classic in skeptical literature.
