Great sound in a small case (an inch thick, when laid flat and 14 inches long). Perfect for the patio or to take with you on road trips. Comes with AC power adapter & battery charger (10-hour charge). Be forewarned, however, that the rechargeable batteries have a limited number of charges (300-500). Replacement battery is about $15.
For your car	If your car has no hookup for an iPod, DO NOT buy a cassette tape or FM transmitter. You will be very unhappy with the sound quality.	My son-in-law hooked up an aftermarket device to our Toyota Sienna that charges the iPod while it plays and is connected to the steering wheel audio controls. This site will give you some idea of what's available.
